The Librarian will perform a variety of professional librarian duties with primary responsibility for information literacy instruction, technical services, and electronic resource management; and to provide responsible administrative and professional support to the Dean of Academic Support and Learning Resources.

DutiesEssential Duties—Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Works in coordination with the Lead Instruction Librarian for instruction-related activities.
- Provide course-integrated information literacy instruction in coordination with the Lead Instruction Librarian.
- Classify and catalog print and non-print materials using standard reference tools.
- Perform original cataloging and maintain metadata standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot electronic resource access and authentication systems.
- Support discovery systems and library platforms.
- Collaborate with IT and vendors to resolve system and access issues.
- Provide reference, instructional, and bibliographic services.
- Prepare instructional materials and research guides.
- Consult with faculty regarding instructional and resource needs.
- Review and recommend materials for acquisition and/or disposition.
- Compile reports and usage statistics.
- Provide guidance and support to technical and clerical staff as needed.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
- Minimum QualificationsA Master of Library Science degree from an accredited college or university is required.
- Two years of professional library experience, including instruction and/or technical services.
