Join the Library of Congress for Fall 2026
The 2026 Archives, History and Heritage Advanced (AHHA) Internship Program is accepting applications now through Monday, April 20, 2026. AHHA 2026 is a paid internship offering remote and onsite projects for many different majors and interests.
Opportunity
The 2026 Archives, History and Heritage Advanced (AHHA) Internship Program is a paid, 10-week internship program that gives the next generation of archivists and knowledge workers invaluable opportunities to analyze, organize, and interpret collections or programs that help share the story of the American experience. Internships and projects will heighten visibility for Library resources that represent the rich heritage of the United States.
Program Dates and Schedule
The internship program starts on September 8, 2026 and ends on November 13, 2026.
Applicants must be available to work a part-time, 20 hour per week schedule, Monday – Friday.
Eligibility
The program is open to currently enrolled undergraduate juniors and seniors, masters, and Ph.D. candidates from all majors or those who have graduated or will graduate between December 1, 2025 – August 31, 2026.
