Manager for Information Systems

The Manager for Information Systems executes and manages established initiatives (StarRez, etc.). This position serves as the manager of student application interfaces within the University and will assist in addressing technology concerns. The Manager for Information Systems will use their industry expertise to improve all aspects of project planning and resource management to strengthen connection and exchange of student information within all Housing systems.
Day to Day for this position:
- StarRez expert and point of contact
- Data reporting
- Database management: designs and applies physical, procedural and technical controls to the databases of Housing Department to ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability
- Investigates and remedies related security incidents.
- Work with conferences and events office to provide updated processes in StarRez to meet the needs of staff and clients
