University Libraries at the University of Southern Mississippi is accepting applications for the Assistant Curator in the de Grummond Children’s Literature Collection. The de Grummond Children's Literature Collection is one of North America's leading research centers in the field of children's literature. The Assistant Curator assists with the management and operation of original manuscripts and illustrations of more than 1,400 authors and illustrators, as well as 200,000+ published books from 1530 to the present. The position processes archival collections, contributes to the Collection’s newsletter, works with donors, assists with events at the Kaigler Children’s Book Festival and other events, in addition to other activities.
The salary is $32,500.
